Recore Electric • July 27, 2026

We're proud to recognize Sonya as Recore Electric's Power Performer for the month of March.

Meet Sonya: Receptionist & Accounting Support

Sonya has been a valued employee with Recore Electric for a year and a half. She currently serves as our receptionist and greeter while also supporting our accounting department.

A Career Built Around What She Loves

Sonya earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Professional Sciences with a focus on Small Business Management from the University of South Carolina. She was inspired to pursue this career because she has always loved welcoming people and making them feel comfortable, so her role at Recore aligns perfectly with what she truly enjoys.

Advice for Someone Starting Out

Sonya's advice for anyone starting out: "Discover what makes you happy, then pursue an educational and career path that aligns with it so you can truly enjoy what you do. When the right company comes along, it will simply enhance and support what you already love doing."

When asked what she likes most about working at Recore Electric, Sonya said: "I LOVE the many different people I have the opportunity to interact and socialize with here at Recore Electric. Everyone brings their unique gift and flair to our workplace, making it successful and a growing part of our community."

Please join us in congratulating Sonya for her incredible work and dedication.
